Control is something all of us aspire to in our lives. Whether it be finances, relationships, security, pension or just the program for the day we want to feel that we have it under control. Then when something interrupts our control, we often become stressed and anxious, because we are forced into the unknown. For many of us the unknown is really scary!

Why do we run away from the unknown, when live itself was developed for it? When a baby is born he has no clue what awaits him. He doesn’t know anything for sure as he is totally dependent on caregivers to take care of him. This however doesn’t stop him from discovering new things every day, growing and learning. The baby needs to fall to learn, he falls every day of his life while learning to walk, but this does not stop him, he gets up and tries again until he succeeds. Then he grows up and gets taught that falling is embarrassing, taking chances is risky and not knowing is irresponsible. What is taken from this baby is the ecstasy of life one of the basic needs of human existence, variety!

When you have control over everything and know everything life becomes one dimensional. We need variety, we need to take chances, we need to enter the unknown and feel alive! Sure you can also be too risky, but you can also be to cautious. Having faith allows you to explore the unknown, to feel alive and live your life to the utmost potential!

I encourage you to take the leap, do not settle for the known, rather take a step of faith and enter the unknown where a new world of opportunities and ecstasy awaits.

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen”.
