I’ve committed my life to being an entrepreneur and building a future from the ground up. In the proses I have been fortunate to be part of many businesses and had the privilege of seeing success in many different businesses. What I found is that, although the businesses trade in vastly different fields, there are common traits that make them successful. In the time I spent in these businesses I learnt valuable lessons that I want to share with you.
These lessons have been invaluable in my venture as entrepreneur.
• Give everything you have to give, every day!
• Be the change you want to see.
• Manage whatever you have been entrusted with wisely and you will receive more to manage.
• Consistency always pays. (Consistent excellence pays liberally; Constant mediocracy pays less and less).
• Constant innovation is absolutely necessary.
• Success comes from small daily improvements over time. CANI (Constant and Never-ending Improvement)
• Commit yourself to MASTERY. (Be so good that people cannot ignore you!)
• Expect criticism, but never let it pull you down. Most people have been conditioned to focus on the negative and cannot even see the positive anymore.
• A compelling vision pulls you towards it.
• Every business has unlimited potential!
• The psychology of the business leader determines the success of the business.
• Be authentic.
• No Guts No Glory (You must be willing to continue when others give up).
